With reference to our letter No. A/474B. of

the 2nd June, 1926 regarding securities deposited

with us on account of the note issue of the Hong Kong

and Shanghai Banking Corporation in Hong Kong and

Straits Settlements, I have the honour to report, for the information of the Secretary of State, that we

have released to the Bank £39,000 4% National War Bonds

1927 and have received in exchange £52,000 31% Conversion

Loan Bonds.
